Here is a vessel as fun as it is fearsome. It is a three-masted, lateen-rigged pirate shipteeming with scheming scallywags. There are murmuring mutineers, pistol-packing privateers, blade-brandishing buccaneers, and an elegant lady accompanied by a one-eyed swashbuckiing silverback lowland gorilla.
Other things to look out for are a traffic cone, model sailboat, hockey stick, howling ghost, Egyptian sarcophagus, two African dignitaries, drunken monkeys, numerous rats and birds, and a skeleton. The briny deep beneath the ship's keel is swarming with fearsome sea monsters.
This ship was the first of the series of cutaway boats I drew dedicated to my son, Franio, but it took nearly three years to complete. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
