This is a cutaway of one of the proud ferries of Washington State, plying the waters of the Puget Sound, with Mount Ranier in the distance, and with two orcas hunting for salmon in the water below. The view show the Electro-Motive Diesel engines that power two mighty DC electric motors at each end. The ship has two bows and two wheelhouses, travelling with equal ease forward or astern.
You can also see the diverse passengers from the wonderful communities that the ferry system connects throughout the islands of the Sound and the Olympic Peninsula.
This limited edition giclee reproduction is printed on high-quality 300-gram art paper. There will be 500 copies in the edition.
